The organizational dimension of a today society is often modified by distinct and very specific risk, crisis and/or emergency events. Those aspects are also built culturally by promoting actions, practices and processes typical of the society in which they take place. In the contemporary temporal dimension, we observe not only the risk, but also the social and cultural impacts generated by the crises or emergencies that may result from it. And it is precisely on emergencies, or rather on the way of communicating emergencies in the digital society, that this article focus on, by considering the cases of Japan and Italy to support the reflection.*
