Emotional Intersections: Exploring the Ontogenesis of Human-Algorithm Relationships
This study aims to investigate the ontological and epistemological transformations in human emotional dynamics following interactions with Large Language Model (LLM) algorithms. The primary objective is to reflect on how these technologies may influence human capacities to experience and interpret emotions within digital interaction contexts, exploring both the potentials and limitations of intelligent algorithms in emulating empathetic connections. The focus is placed on the individuation process between human and non-human entities, emphasizing the emergence of new forms of subjectivity in the digital age. Adopting a qualitative approach, discursive interviews will be conducted with the GPT-4 LLM model on themes related to emotions and the relationship between human and digital entities.
