La recente pandemia da Covid 19 ha evidenziato numerose criticità del mercato del lavoro, riportando l’attenzione su settori importanti come quello primario e dell’agricoltura. Al loro interno alcune categorie di lavoratori, come i migranti stagionali, sebbene pressoché invisibili, costituiscono una grossa parte della forza lavoro. Si ritiene qui che uno studio più puntuale sul lavoro etnicizzato, attraverso l’analisi di dati e politiche, possa restituire un utile quadro di comprensione delle problematiche e delle conseguenze ovvie e non ovvie delle modifiche apportate al sistema normativo che riguarda questi lavoratori.
The recent COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted abundant critical issues in the labour market and brought attention back to important sectors such as primary care and agriculture. Within these sectors, some categories of workers, such as seasonal migrants, make up a large part of the workforce although they are almost invisible. A more detailed study of ethnicized work through the analysis of data and policies could provide a useful framework for understanding the problems and the obvious or non-obvious consequences of changes made to the regulatory systems affecting these workers.
