Herbert Blumer’s influence on the ideas of Anselm Strauss
The aim of the paper is to analyze the scientific relationship between Blumer and Strauss, who, together with Glaser, is known in Italy more as methodologist than interactionist. The paper highlights their teacher-student relationship and identifies Blumer’s intellectual influences on Strauss’s theories and analyses.
